Day 1 – Local departure by coach then travel onward to northern France for an overnight stay.
Day 2 – Continue south through France and Italy to Lake Como for a four-night stay. B, D
Day 3 – Lake Cruise (optional). Enjoy a relaxing day on the lake. The best way to appreciate the beauty of Lake Como is by the water, so why not join our optional lake cruise. See the beautiful villas and houses that dot the shoreline. B, L, D
Day 4 – Milan (included), Milan Sightseeing (optional). Join our included excursion to Milan. The breathtaking Duomo is one of the world’s largest, most striking cathedrals, whilst the elegant shopping arcades boast many of the leading brand names. An optional sightseeing tour of the main highlights may also be available. Visit Milan’s Sant’ Ambrogio Christmas Fair and you will find various gift ideas, including decorative ornaments, figurines and local treats. B, L, D
Day 5 – Local Christmas Markets (included). Today, we spend a day exploring some of the local Christmas Markets. Offering a more intimate atmosphere, many of the local markets have their own unique charm. Explore the stalls and perhaps enjoy a glass or two of Vino Brule (spiced warm red wine). B, L, D
Day 6 – We leave Lake Como and travel to northern France for an overnight stay. B
Day 7 – Travel to Calais and return home. B

Accommodation
You’ll stay for four fully-inclusive nights at the 3-star Hotel Britannia Excelsior in Cadenabbia. Enjoying a superb setting facing the lake-shore, the hotel has a restaurant featuring buffet meals, a large lounge area, bar and lifts. Enjoy the superb views across the lake to Bellagio. All bedrooms have flat-screen T.V., telephone and hairdryer. The hotel is managed and owned by the Whieldon family who are on hand to make sure your stay is enjoyable. Room upgrades are available. Overnight stays in northern France will be in city-style hotels.
